4th Annual Urban Soils Symposium

USI is a platform for people and their soils; for connecting, collaborating, developing and seeking non-typical relationships and collaborations, that are united in soils.

The annual symposium has become the heart and product of this mission, bringing together people of different backgrounds, philosophies, disciplines, cultures, to stitch together efforts, challenge today for tomorrow, and to unite and strengthen our mutual goal:  to make things better, to be better, to have a healthier us and planet.

The speakers and audience are equally important, the presentations being the stimulus to the discussion. Everyone coming from different backgrounds, puts everyone on the same levelmaking everyone an equal part of the symposium and discussion.

We learn together, we do together. For the people, by the people. The symposium is the seed for discussion, thought, collaboration-the platform and springboard to get things going, to go from idea to implementation, to stimulate work and relationships that function beyond the symposiums, to keep the work and conversations going.

This year, we are launching our urban soil courses and workshop series that will offer more space and time for discussion and learning. Let’s keep on!
