11th Annual Urban Soils Symposium

Soils Building Health. Read the title together or each word separately. Access to soils is intrinsic to the health of urban populations. This goes beyond farming and recreation - a healthy soil microbiome itself protects against disease. Yet urban soils are often sealed behind concrete and asphalt, or have become contaminated over time. Soils Building Health, the Urban Soils Institute’s 11th Annual Urban Soils Symposium, is a platform to explore opportunities to improve access to healthy urban soil through research, practice, engagement and education. Save the date and join us in October.
